This event is held to honor His Majesty the King on the occasion of His Majesty’s Birthday, July 28, 2026, and to honor Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother on the occasion of National Mother’s Day, August 12, 2026. The EM District cordially invites everyone to commemorate His Majesty’s benevolence by joining in the preservation and continuation of the 8 styles of Royal-Style Thai National Costume. For this event, in collaboration with the SUPPORT Foundation (Foundation for the Promotion of Supplementary Occupations and Related Techniques), two styles of Royal-Style Thai National Costume will be presented: the Ruen Ton style and the Chitralada style. Both can be worn on various occasions, as the fabrics used are ones commonly worn by the public in everyday life, such as mudmee silk, praewa silk, chok silk, khit-woven cloth, and textiles from various Thai hill tribes, all beautifully crafted into these two styles of Royal-Style Thai National Costume. In addition, various styles of woven baskets and bags will also be featured, which pair beautifully with the Royal-Style Thai National Costume. The bags presented at this event are of a new design, developed by Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya to be modern and well-suited to contemporary women.

Products to be sold at this event include:

Various styles of mudmee silk featuring newly designed patterns, including the sand-wave pattern, peacock-tail pattern, heart pattern, sawtooth pattern, and turtle-scale silk combined with squirrel-tail pattern, among others. Various styles of woven bags, crafted from ya lipao vine, khit-patterned bamboo, sedge, and pandanus. The latest ceramic products, including various tea sets. Artificial flowers, which are entirely handmade products with delicate and beautiful details, especially foreign flower species that Her Royal Highness initiated the production of following her visit to the Royal Project at the Angkhang Royal Agricultural Station, Fang District, Chiang Mai Province. Assorted souvenir items from the Arts of the Kingdom Museum and the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles, including jewelry made from jewel beetle wings, various styles of bags made from silk and hill-tribe textiles, keychains, and adorably cute animal dolls. Agricultural products from Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s Model Farm, including Riceberry rice, brown rice, flower salt and cooking salt, Arabica coffee, sun-dried red-cheek pork, sun-dried duck, sturgeon meat, and milkfish (sea).

Contemporary-patterned mudmee cloth, designed following Her Royal Highness’s initiative, along with newly patterned hill-tribe textiles.
